Senior Consultant

Position Summary

As a Senior Consultant, you will help implement and optimize our software for midstream oil & gas clients. You will partner closely with clients and product managers to ensure the system accurately reflects requirements, supports best practices, and resolves functional and technical gaps. The Senior Consultant will touch various areas of the client journey, from sales demos, all the way through go-live and post-implementation optimization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional expert on midstream terminals management and midstream transportation
• Lead and support implementation of our software for midstream oil and gas clients
• Analyze client workflows across terminals, transportation, and logistics operations and translate them into system workflows and requirements
• Work hands-on with operational and accounting data within the systems
• Build and validate data tie-outs between operational systems and accounting systems
• Identify gaps in workflows or data and proactively solve issues during implementation
• Partner with engineering and product teams to improve system functionality and client outcomes
• Participate in sales demos as a subject matter expert, providing credibility and real-world context to prospective clients
• Support clients through go-live and post-implementation optimization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in midstream operations, terminals management, and/or transportation within oil and gas
• Direct experience working with or within key industry platforms.
• Strong ability to articulate business processes and convert them into clear system requirements.
• Experience across multiple stages of the customer journey, including sales demos, requirements gathering, system configuration, implementation, go-live, and post-implementation support
• Demonstrated experience partnering with product, IT, or development teams on system improvements, configuration, or implementations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide expert-level guidance to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a part-time capacity.
• Vendor and industry experience preferred.
